How anonymous is my salary contribution, really?
Completely anonymous. When you contribute your salary, we never publicly link it to your username, email, or any identifying information. Other users see only the job details you share (job title, experience, city, salary, etc.) - nothing that identifies you personally.
Can my employer find out I contributed my salary?
No. We never collect or display company names, and your contributions cannot be traced back to you. Even if your employer uses Lonnskart, they cannot identify which entries are from their employees.
Is Lonnskart free?
Yes! Lonnskart is completely free to use. You can browse and contribute salary data at no cost. Users will, however, be required to contribute a salary to be able to view the Insights, in the near future as Lonnskart scales.
Do I need an account to view salaries?
Yes, you need to create a free account to browse salary data. This helps us prevent abuse and maintain data quality.
Can I contribute salaries from outside Norway?
Yes you can! Lonnskart started as an idea for the Norwegian market, but we realised the value we could provide for professionals globally. So you can add salaries from anywhere in the world.
Which platforms is the mobile app available on?
Lonnskart is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
How do you verify salary data is accurate?
We rely first on internal verification of new submissions and on community verification. Users can upvote data that they consider accurate to help other users. We also monitor for patterns of fraud or obviously fake data and remove suspicious entries.
Is Lonnskart GDPR compliant?
Yes. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and data protection laws. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Your personal information (username, email, account details) is immediately deleted when the request is submitted. Your salary contributions remain in the database anonymously to preserve the integrity of our data - they can never be traced back to you since they were always anonymous.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Make sure you have the latest version of the app, 2) Restart the app, 3) Check your internet connection, 4) Clear the app cache (in your phone settings). If issues persist, contact support@lonnskart.com with details about your device and the problem.
