1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Lonnskart ("we", "our", "us", or "the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lonnskart mobile application and related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Lonnskart, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of Lonnskart after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use Lonnskart:

• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• You must be capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable laws
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration

By using Lonnskart, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use Lonnskart, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A secure password
• Acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate data, circumvent bans, or abuse the Service is strictly prohibited.

4. User-Generated Content and Community Guidelines

4.1 Content You Provide

When you use Lonnskart, you may submit the following content:

• Salary information (job title, compensation, experience, etc.)
• Comments and feedback on salary entries
• Upvotes and verification signals
• Support requests and bug reports

4.2 Content Standards

All content you submit must comply with the following standards. You MAY NOT submit content that:

• Is false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading: You must only submit your own accurate salary information
• Is harassing, threatening, or abusive: No personal attacks, threats, intimidation, or hostile language toward any individual or group
• Contains hate speech or discrimination: No content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Is sexually explicit or obscene: No pornography, sexually suggestive content, or explicit material
• Violates privacy: No personal information about others (names, contact information, addresses, etc.)
• Infringes intellectual property: No copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary information without permission
• Is spam or commercial solicitation: No advertisements, promotional content, or unsolicited offers
• Contains malware or malicious code: No viruses, trojans, or harmful software
• Violates applicable laws: No illegal content or content that facilitates illegal activity

4.3 Accuracy and Honesty

We reserve the right to verify salary submissions and may:

• Mark entries as "unverified" if they appear suspicious
• Request additional verification for outlier data
• Remove obviously fraudulent or impossible entries

4.4 Anonymity and Privacy

While your salary contributions are anonymous:

• Do not include identifying information in free-text fields (company names, manager names, specific projects, etc.)
• Be aware that unique combinations of metadata could potentially be identifying
• You are responsible for protecting your own anonymity in your submissions

5. Content Moderation and Enforcement

5.1 Reporting Objectionable Content

We provide multiple ways for users to report content that violates these Terms:

• In-app reporting: Use the "Report" button on any salary entry
• Email: Contact support@lonnskart.com
• Support screen: Submit a report through the in-app Support feature

5.2 Our Response to Reports

We take all reports seriously and commit to the following response times:

• Review within 24 hours: All reports are reviewed within 24 hours of receipt
• Immediate action: Confirmed violations result in immediate content removal
• User consequences: Users who post objectionable content are permanently banned from the platform
• Reporter notification: We notify reporters when their report has been resolved

5.3 Automated Content Filtering

We employ automated systems to filter inappropriate content:

• Profanity filters on all text submissions (job titles, additional information fields)
• Pattern detection for spam and fraudulent data
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse and mass submission of fake data

5.4 User Blocking

You have the right to block any user whose content you find objectionable:

• Blocked users' contributions will be hidden from your view permanently
• You can manage your blocked users list in Settings
• Blocking is private - the blocked user is not notified

5.5 Removal of Your Own Content

You maintain control over your contributions:

• You can edit or delete your salary submissions at any time through the "My Contributions" screen
• Deleted content is removed immediately from public view
• We may retain anonymized data for statistical purposes as described in our Privacy Policy

5.6 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may take the following actions:

• Content removal: Immediate deletion of violating content
• Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
• Temporary suspension: Repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension
• Permanent ban: Serious violations (harassment, hate speech, fraud) result in immediate permanent ban
• Legal action: Illegal content may be reported to law enforcement

5.7 Appeals

If you believe content was removed or your account was banned in error:

• Contact us at support@lonnskart.com with your appeal
• Include your username and a detailed explanation
• We will review appeals within 5 business days
• Our decision on appeals is final

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the salary information you submit.

By submitting content to Lonnskart, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to:

• Store, process, and display your salary data in anonymized form
• Use your contributions to generate aggregated statistics and market insights
• Distribute anonymized salary data to other users of the platform

This license continues even if you delete your account, as salary data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to you.

6.2 Our Content

Lonnskart and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and data compilations) are owned by Lonnskart and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use our trademarks or branding without written permission
• Scrape, harvest, or extract salary data in bulk without authorization

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Lonnskart for any of the following purposes:

• Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its servers
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Using automated systems (bots, scrapers, scripts) without authorization
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Collecting or harvesting any personally identifiable information
• Using the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate data or circumvent bans

8. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers

8.1 User-Generated Data

Lonnskart is a platform for sharing salary information. All salary data is provided by users and is not verified or guaranteed by us.

8.2 No Professional Advice

Lonnskart does not provide professional career, legal, financial, or tax advice. The information on our platform should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional consultation.

8.3 Third-Party Content

We may provide links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee that Lonnskart will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical difficulties
• Factors beyond our control

9.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Fees and Payment

10.1 Free Service

Lonnskart is currently free to use. You can browse and contribute salary data at no cost.

10.2 Future Premium Features

We may introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future. If we do:

• You will be notified in advance
• Core salary browsing and contributing will remain free
• Premium features will be clearly marked and optional
• You will have the choice to upgrade or continue using the free version

10.3 Contribution Requirements

In the future, we may require users to contribute at least one salary entry before accessing certain features (such as detailed Insights). This ensures the community remains active and data stays current.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using Lonnskart, you consent to:

• The collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy
• Our GDPR-compliant data handling practices
• The anonymous sharing of salary data you contribute

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lonnskart and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Any content or conduct of any third party on the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently zero, as the Service is free).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lonnskart and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit to the Service

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

14.3 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us at support@lonnskart.com to resolve any disputes informally.

15. Termination

15.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Going to Settings → Profile → Delete Profile in the app, or
• Contacting us at support@lonnskart.com

Upon termination, your personal information is immediately deleted. Anonymized salary contributions may remain in the database as described in our Privacy Policy.

15.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• You harass or abuse other users
• You submit objectionable content
• We are required to do so by law

15.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will continue to apply

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lonnskart regarding the Service.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

16.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, government actions, etc.).
